Five Points Tasting at The Three Compasses

We are visiting The Three Compasses on Thursday, the 9th of April, with tastings of our full range of brews in tow. We are providing samples of our brews to help kick off the Dalston pub’s new food menu from their new resident chef Tait Miller, and members of Team Five Points will be around to answer questions about our brewery and our beer. This is a free event, so please rock up from 5pm for 50% off food and cocktails, and to taste our full range of Five Points brews.

Startisans Brewers Market

We’ll be at Startisans Brewers Market on Friday, the 10th of April, alongside a handful of other brewers and beer suppliers. This is a weekly market that happens every Friday evening, so come see us and make the market a plan for your afterwork drinks. We’ll be selling beer on draught as well as beer in bottle to take away at this indoor market in Covent Garden, so come see us from 5pm. It’s free entry, so save your money for beer.

Brewers Cask Race at The Prince

The Prince in Stoke Newington will be hosting a Brewers Cask Race on Saturday, the 11th of April. They will be racing casks of local pale ales from Hackney Brewery, East London Brewing Co., Crate Brewery and us as part of their Grand National celebrations.  The casks will be in their stables from 12 noon and representatives from the breweries will be there from 2pm to see which cask will empty the quickest. There will be a grand prize of a case of beer to win, so get involved! Free entry for the event, and it’ll be a great chance to meet folks from your local breweries.

Battle of the IPAs at BrewDog Shoreditch

It’s the Battle of London’s IPAs at BrewDog Shoreditch on Saturday, the 25th of April! The crew at BrewDog Shoreditch have shortlisted 8 of their favourite IPAs brewed by London brewers, which includes our Five Points IPA. All IPAs will be on the taps unmarked for you to find and vote for your favourite “with our palate, not your heart.” The results will be revealed at 9pm, but come in throughout the day to meet folks from the breweries, including us! Follow the event on Facebook and find out when The Five Points are coming down.

Hackney Drinks Market, May 2015

The Five Points will be taking part in the inaugural Hackney Drinks Market on Saturday, the 2nd of May, at The Village Green of Hackney Downs Studios. The market will be open from 12 noon until 6pm. Along with brewers, there will be local producers of gin, mead, cider, sodas and more, plus snacks to keep you going. We will have our Five Points Pale and our Hook Island Red on pour, plus brews sold by the bottle. This is a new monthly market and we are pleased to be a part of it, so come along!

The Whole Hog at The Prince

Stoke Newington’s The Prince are hosting a beer feast for The Whole Hog on Thursday, the 14th of May from 7pm. Billed by the pub as “All the pig, all The Five Points’ beers,” enjoy nose-to-tail dining curated around each of our beers for £40. We will be talking about our brewery and our beers on the evening. RAW: The Artisan Wine Fair

The Five Points will be part of a select group of brewers featured at RAW: The Artisan Wine Fair, taking place at The Old Truman Brewery in East London on the 17th & 18th of May. Tickets are £30 for single entry online before the event, or £50 for both days, and can be purchased here. We enjoyed the event last year, and look forward to having our beer on draught and in bottle for attendees and chatting about our beer again.

The Five Points Guest DJ Night at The Three Compasses

The Five Points Brewing Company are taking the decks at The Three Compasses, Dalston on Thursday, the 21st of May, for our first ever guest DJ night! Members of The Five Points will be playing some of their favourite jams at the pub of myth & legend, as well as on hand to chat about the beer, the brewery, music and whatever else. Expect an eclectic array of sounds from our team of audiophiles, as well as our Five Points Pale and Five Points IPA on pour. No iPods!

Leeds Feast: Craft Beer Panel

Finishing off a fun fortnight celebrating food and drink, the folks behind Leeds Indie Food and Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen are hosting a closing party in The Tetley the 22nd and 23rd of May–and we’ll be there. Ed Mason, the director of The Five Points as well as the owner of the fabled Whitelocks Ale House, will be part of a panel on craft beer on Saturday, the 23rd at 3pm.
