This Spring, we got the keys to the legendary Pembury Tavern in Hackney, just 100 yards from our brewery and the only pub situated on the landmark five-way junction from which we take our name. Originally built in the 1860s, the pub has been key in bringing good beer back to the area, featuring in the Good Pub Guide for years.

The Pembury Tavern will close on Saturday, 11th August, for a month-long refurbishment and refresh. We’re going to take a sensitive and considered approach to putting our own ‘Five Points spin’ on ‘the Pembo’. It’s a great pub and we want it to stay that way.

In September this year, the Pembury Tavern will reopen as our new Five Points Taproom. The pub will have a fresh, smarter look but will retain it’s incredible character and spirit. On the bar there will be our full range of beers on draught, plus awesome beers in cask and keg from independent breweries across London and the UK.

It’s an exciting new chapter in our story: we can’t wait to share it with you. For updates and news, follow the Pembury Tavern on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
