About The Company

The Five Points Brewing Company is an independent craft brewery based in Hackney, East London.

We are one of the UK’s only employee-owned breweries, we were the UK’s first Living Wage accredited brewer and we run an apprentice training scheme to provide pathways into brewing for people from diverse backgrounds.

Founded in 2013, we have won many awards for our fantastic beer, and were voted Brewers’ Journal Brewery of The Year 2021. As well as a thriving brewing business, we operate two hospitality venues – The Pembury Tavern and our on-site Taproom.

Our company culture is open and inclusive – we want everyone to feel supported and we are committed to professional development for employees.

The Marketing Manager Role

The Marketing Manager will have creative free rein, drive the full marketing strategy from concept to delivery, and lead the team who implement it. This role runs our marketing and events department for our brewery and venues, with a diverse range of responsibilities, including content planning, digital marketing, copywriting, PR, investor relations, charity partnerships, and more.

We have strong brand foundations in place, and you will have creative freedom and autonomy to execute exciting marketing campaigns.

You will have two direct reports – our Marketing & Social Media Assistant, and Events & Customer Experience Manager, and you will manage relationships with external PR and graphic design agencies.

It is our aspiration that the right candidate will progress to Marketing Director level over time.

What do we need from you?

You will already be working in an in-house Marketing Manager role, or as an agency Account Manager. You will have a proven track record within an established food, drinks or craft beer brand (3+ year’s experience), or maybe you work for an independent retail or manufacturing brand in communications or brand management.

Whatever your current role, you should have a knowledge and love of craft beer!

You will have previously developed and delivered successful marketing strategies and have managed various projects at any one time. This is a hands-on as well as a strategic role – you will be delivering as well as strategic planning.

For more details and to apply, please send a copy of your CV and a covering letter or email explaining what excites you about the role to [email protected]. Why not tell us about your favourite pub, brewery or brand?

We encourage applications from candidates from underrepresented backgrounds. Everyone will get a response.

Staff Benefits

We offer an Employee Share Ownership Scheme to all staff, generous discounts in our hospitality venues and webstore, monthly free beer allowance, an enhanced annual leave entitlement and additional perks and benefits such as the Cycle To Work scheme and access to free Osteopathy.
