Marketing Manager

Posted: June 8th 2022 Closing Date: June 30th 2022 Salary: Negotiable upon experience

Do you want creative freedom?

Do you have great ideas but don’t have full autonomy to execute?

What if you could have free creative reign, own the full marketing strategy from concept to delivery, and lead the team who implement it.

The Five Points Brewing Company is a brand that is genuinely loved by its local community but punches well above its weight on a national stage with the broader beer community.

Coming off the back of last year’s Brewers Journal’s Brewery of the Year, everyone in beer knows Five Points. The exciting part is that we are now seeking a Marketing Manager to come and join the success.

Not only does this role give you the opportunity to create and deliver the marketing strategy, you will also manage the marketing and events department to grow the Five Points brand and drive awareness around East London, as well as further afield.

This is a full 360 marketing role with a diverse scope of responsibilities, from digital marketing, content planning, copywriting, PR, events, investors, charity partnerships, and more.

You will have two direct reports – Marketing & Social Media Assistant and Events & Customer Experience Manager.

It’s not just the brewing and brand you will represent. The Five Points hospitality venues also play a big part, like the newly refurbished Taproom on Mare Street and the iconic Pembury Tavern.

What do we need from you?

You will already be working in a Marketing Manager role within a similar industry, ideally around the East London area. Whether your industry is in food, another drinks brand or a hospitality venue, you must also have a knowledge and love of craft beer!

You will have previously developed and delivered successful marketing strategies and have managed various projects at any one time.

You have strong writing skills, as you will lead and oversee the brand voice across various channels. You are passionate about brand consistency, tone of voice and style, and pay attention to detail.

As Five Points brewery is a SME (small-to-medium enterprise), it would be beneficial if you have worked in a start-up or scale-up, or equally if you have been part of a small team within a larger business.

You’ll have questions about the package, benefits and job specifics. If you are interested in learning more send a copy of your CV to [email protected] with ‘Marketing Manager’ as the subject line. Everyone will get a response.
