LBA Rising Stars Tap Takeover at BrewDog Camden

BrewDog Bar Camden will be showcasing the ‘rising stars’ of the London Brewers’ Alliance on Saturday, the 23rd of August, with a tap takeover from the likes of ourselves, Weird Beard, Pressure Drop, Brick Brewery, Hop Stuff, Hammerton and Orbit Brewery. Members from many of the breweries will be available for chats throughout the day, and Doreen will be stopping in from 2~4pm for a drink and to answer any questions about The Five Points. Our Hook Island Red and our Railway Porter will be on the bar throughout the day, so stop in.

Open Day at The Five Points Brewing Company

We’re having our Summer Open Day on Saturday, the 30th of August, from 1pm until 8pm. Visit our pop-up taproom with a bevy of brews from us and guest ales from Ilkley Brewery, Pressure Drop and Howling Hops. We’ll also have excellent food from Capish Street Food and Club Mexicana, plus sodas from Square Root London. Have a look at where the brewing magic happens, and enjoy a great day enjoying tunes, food and, of course, beer.

Leeds International Beer Festival

The Five Points will be back at Leeds International Beer Festival this year from the 4th through the 7th of September. Come by the Five Points bar and enjoy the beer we’ll be having on offer, as well as the massive selection the folks behind LIBF are curating from other breweries and distributors.

September Brewery Tour

Come to our September Brewery Tour on Saturday, the 6th. Starting from 12 noon, the tour will include a talk, a tour of the brewkit and a tasting of each of our beers. Tickets are available on Eventbrite for just £12, and there’ll be a mini-bottle shop available after the tour to purchase bottles to take home for the rest of the weekend as well.

York Beer & Cider Festival

You can find our beer at York Beer & Cider Fest, which starts on the 17th and runs through the 20th of September. We’ve sent up all three of our ales in cask, plus a very early taste of the Derailed Porter–our latest version of our Railway Porter aged with brettanomyces yeast, soon to be more widely released later in the year. There’ll be 400 ales and plenty of cider at the festival to enjoy, so get involved.

Craft100 Craft Beer Festival

The Craft Beer Co. are putting on their Craft100, a festival celebrating the wonderful array of craft beer, from the 18th through the 21st of September at The Craft Beer Co. Clapham. Expect a special edition of our Railway Porter at this free-entry festival, alongside some excellent beer from several other breweries.

Brewers Market at Canal Mills

The Five Points will be at Canal Mills in Leeds for their Brewers Market, a 3 day beer festival starting on Friday, the 3rd of October and continuing through the weekend. Tickets start at just £5 and include a branded pint glass and programmes. Great food will be on offer, and there’ll be gin and wine, too. Other confirmed breweries include Magic Rock, Thornbridge, Black Jack and Ilkley Brewery, so come along and try some great beer in a beautiful space.

October Brewery Tour

Beer Tasting at Sourced Market

We’ll be handing out samples and chatting beer at one of our favourite shops, Sourced Market, located in St Pancras Station, on Friday, the 17th of October. If you haven’t tried our full range, here’s a great chance to taste our beer and meet with two of the folks that make our beer and brewery what it is! We’ll be there from 5pm until 8pm, so stop by on your way home or your way out.

Craft Beer Bowl at Bloomsbury Lanes

The Five Points will be bowling for glory at Bloomsbury Lanes’ Craft Beer Bowl on Sunday, the 19th of October. Cheer us on and help us heckle the rest of the teams! The bowling starts from 4pm and works as a knock-out round between other breweries and pubs.
