Five Years of Five Points Vol. II Launch Party at The Pembury Tavern!
The Five Points Brewing Company is releasing Five Years of Five Points Vol. II, the second and final round of collaborations that celebrate our fifth birthday year. Celebrate the launch of these four beers with us and our brewery pals at The Pembury Tavern this December!
The Collaboration Breweries
We’re honoured to have worked with some of our favourite brewers in the country, whose beers we love and whose ethos we admire. Each beer style was a first for us, so these collaborations were a chance for our brew team to work side-by-side with their peers to learn new skills and techniques.
Wiper and True | Bristol
From first brewing nomadically to moving into a permanent brewhouse in the heart of Bristol, Wiper & True have an appreciation of traditional brewing and a love of experimentation.
They say: “Whilst paying respect to the traditional craft of beer making, our inclination since those early days has always been to experiment and to play.”
Burning Sky | East Sussex
Brewing out of a farmhouse in the South Downs since 2013, Burning Sky’s British take on Belgian styles is both unique and inspiring.
They say: “The dream of a long term brewer with a love of both punchy hop forward pales and of the beautiful Belgian beer tradition.”
Gipsy Hill | South London
Fellow Londoners from the south side of the river, Gipsy Hill has been brewing since 2013. Their cans feature distinctive illustrations of the founders and staff of the brewery.
They say: “We brew full flavoured, moreish brews of the highest standard. Every decision we make is led by improving quality, pushing innovation and engaging with our community”
Magic Rock | Huddersfield
Brewing in the Northern heartlands since 2013, Magic Rock are admired for their pioneering spirit and awesome brand.
They say: “Our ‘Same but Different’ beers are packed with intense yet approachable flavours which will challenge and inspire, but above all remain balanced and drinkable.”
The Beer Launch &
The Collab Chinwag
Wednesday 5th December | From 6pm
Join us at The Pembury Tavern for the Launch Party and exclusive first pour of all four beers! It’s free entry and no registration is needed. The four collaboration beers will be pouring, plus all of the partner breweries will have beer on the taps.
The Collab Chinwag
There will also be a limited number of tickets for The Collab Chinwag, a tutored tasting and casual discussion with the four collaborating breweries.
Each brewery will talk about a subject dear to them and we’ll cover themes such as collaboration, community ethos, local beer scenes and more. The Five Points will host the panel and lead a Q&A to close the event.
The Collab Chinwag will be held in the South Wing of The Pembury Tavern from 6.30pm until 8pm, with the first talk beginning promptly at 7pm. Tickets cost £15 each and include a half-pint of the four beers.
