Archive: Battle of the Brewers Red Lager
In the early days of 2023, we put our Five Points Team to the test to see who could create the best-loved beer. We brewed four different beers on our pilot kit, and launched all four side-by-side on an April weekend.
The one that came out on top was Red Lager–a beer taking notes from American Red Ales and Amber Lagers, brewed with UK-grown hops. The combination of a lightly toasted and spicy malt base with a crisp, clean body and finish was a winning one, and so, in September of that year, we brewed a full batch of the beer on our big kit and launched it on keg to our trade customers.
VEGAN-FRIENDLY
As of spring 2023, all of our beer across all formats, including cask, is suitable for vegans to enjoy in their favourite pub and bar.
Our beer remains unfiltered and unpasteurised for a superior flavour and aroma.
