Nectaron Citra Pale: Our Latest Investor-Brewed Beer

On Saturday, the 20th of April, we brewed a beer with a small group of our investor community on our pilot kit. Max, our head brewer, led the brew with input on the beer's style and format from our trio of investors who came along for the brewday. 

The hops selected for the brew were Citra, a stalwart in many modern pale ales, and Nectaron, which is a New Zealand hop with characteristics of citrus, passion fruit, pineapple and grapefruit. 

Our investors elected to brew mid-strength beer for cask, so the Nectaron Citra Pale weighs in at 4.8% abv. You'll get your first chance to try it at The Pembury Tavern next week on Thursday, the 27th of June. It will coincide with our first evening of The Pembury Tavern's annual Lager Fest, as well as the return of the much-loved Chicken Tikka Pizza for ACE Pizza's infamous Slice Night.
