From The Ashes at The Five Points Taproom & Courtyard

The BBQ street food sensation, From The Ashes, returned to their East London roots in May of 2023 by setting up shop at The Five Points Courtyard.

We've been enjoying the savoury barbecue creations alongside our brewery-fresh beer. From sold-out Sunday Roasts during the winter months, inventive collaborations with other notable chefs near and far, and making sensational seasonal fare, it's been a pleasure to host Martin and Curtis and their team in our Courtyard.

Focusing on sustainable smokehouse cuisine, From The Ashes utilise a range of cooking techniques to create an inventive menu spotlighting British-reared meats and produce. Devised by Martin Anderson and Curtis Bell in June 2020 initially as a delivery option out of The Hatch in Hackney Wick, From The Ashes are now one of the city’s most anticipated pop-up outfits.

Booking types are as follows:

Taproom - Table inside our taproom

Courtyard - Table allocated outside in the courtyard (covered and heated in the colder months)

Dining with From The Ashes - Table allocated in the dining area available Friday-Sunday

Smashes By From The Ashes - Table allocated in the Taproom - Thursday only

From the Ashes Sunday Roasts - Table allocated in the dining area.

We require a holding deposit for all bookings which will only be charged if any of the booking T&Cs are broken. Please note we work on a first come, first served basis and our heated courtyard space fills up fast.

Please note that currently the food menu on Thursdays is From The Ashes Smash Burgers.
