Job Vacancy: ACE Pizza Kitchen Porter at The Pembury Tavern

Location: The Pembury Tavern, 90 Amhurst Road, London, E8 4RG
Pay: £13.85 per hour
Hours: Part-time, minimum 20 hours/week (Thursday–Sunday)

We’re ACE Pizza, based at The Pembury Tavern in Hackney - and we’re on the hunt for a
reliable and hard-working Kitchen Porter to join our tight-knit kitchen team.

As a KP, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and our pizza flying out hot and fresh. You’ll be responsible for washing up, keeping the kitchen clean, supporting chefs with basic prep, and generally being the behind-the-scenes hero of the operation.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Keep all kitchen areas clean and tidy during and after service
• Wash pots, pans, trays, and kitchen equipment to a high standard
• Assist with general cleaning duties including surfaces, floors, bins, etc.
• Support chefs with simple prep tasks as needed (training provided)
• Help with deep cleans and regular kitchen maintenance
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures at all times

What We're Looking For

• A positive, can-do attitude - you're happy to muck in and work as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual - we can count on you to be there when it counts
• Good attention to detail, especially with cleaning and hygiene
• Experience in a kitchen is great, but not essential - we’ll show you the ropes
