Crisps is making a savoury return!

We've brought this banger back, brewed with our good friends in Norfolk, Duration Brewing!

This collaboration was first brewed in March 2025 and it's making a comeback this August. The XXPA was brewed with Riwaka and Nelson hops, with their flavour profiles amplified by a sprinkle of that magic savoury goodness: MSG.

Monosodium glutamate (MSG) is the suave, older cousin to your average table salt, most synonymous with delivering Umami flavours to dishes and deepening their savoury core. 

Don't knock it, this beer is a perfect companion to a publican's late lunch. Try this beer with a pack of your favourite salty snacks. It won’t disappoint.

"We wanted to make a beer that pairs perfectly with crisps, so we invited our friends from Five Points over to brew an Extra, EXTRA Pale Ale. Lager and pale malts with flaked rice keep it light and snappy, while Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin hops bring lime zest and white grape. A touch of MSG, like in crisps, amplifies the flavour and makes the hops pop. Super dry, perfect with snacks."
