Tchô Bonne, Max!

It's the end of an era as we raise a glass to Max, our Head Brewer who finished up with us here at Five Points at the end of April and will be relocating with his partner Kim back to Switzerland.

Coming to us from Brew By Numbers, Max joined our brew team in March 2019 and became our Head Brewer in September 2021. During his time with us, he’s led in recipe development, particularly with Five Points Gold and our award-winning Dark Mild, along with innumerable collabs and brews on our Pilot Kit. Not only that, Max has been personable host for events such as Investor Brew Days and meet the brewer sessions.

Max will be heading back to Switzerland to take a more active role in the brewery he co-owns with two childhood friends, Brasserie du Lance-Pierre, while also looking for new brewing opportunities back home. So if you're in the Lausanne area, grab a beer from his brewery there.
