Five Points Courtyard Spotlight: From The Ashes

Five Points Courtyard Spotlight: From The Ashes

The BBQ street food sensation, From The Ashes, are back in East London, setting up shop at The Five Points Courtyard. Smokehouse cooking combined with brewery-fresh beer–what’s not to love?

Focusing on sustainable smokehouse cuisine, From The Ashes utilise a range of cooking techniques to create an inventive menu spotlighting British-reared meats and produce. Devised by Martin Anderson and Curtis Bell in June 2020 initially as a delivery option out of The Hatch in Hackney Wick, From The Ashes are now one of the city’s most anticipated pop-up outfits.

They have now joined anoosh at The Five Points Courtyard, where you can savour hearty, fire-embraced fare such as their Smoked Feather Blade, served alongside pickles and a dollop of delicious BBQ sauce. You can also enjoy one of their epic Del Piero Doughnuts, sandwiching a delicious smattering of Smoked Pork with chilli jam and ’nduja.

Folks opting for meat-free options won’t miss out, with Smoked Cauliflower Flatbread, dressed with chilli romanesco and smoked almonds, which can be coupled with an array of sides that are vegetarian or vegan, like their Apple, Celery, Fennel and Kraut Salad.

You can enjoy From The Ashes’ incredible food from Thursday through Sunday at The Five Points Courtyard.
