From the Ashes presents: East London Smokehouse Sessions
Feb 18, 2026
Fire, smoke and serious flavour - all in one place for one day only.
On 21st March, From the Ashes is teaming up with three of East London’s finest open fire chefs for a celebration of BBQ in the Five Points Courtyard. Four smokehouses. Four exclusive dishes. One courtyard filled with smoke, beer and good tunes.
Joining From the Ashes on the pits:
Acme Fire Cult - a live-fire concept from chef Andrew Clarke, born during the pandemic years when restaurants could only operate outside. Acme set out to do something different from the usual ‘dude food’ BBQ, so here vegetables are celebrated and take centre stage on the menu. Meats come from select regenerative farms in the UK, always using native and rare breeds.
Uncle Hon’s - specialising in authentic Texan-style BBQ with a unique, subtle Chinese/Sichuan twist. Founded after Hon trained at InterStellar BBQ in Texas, he is now known for his melt in the mouth Sichuan beef cheeks.
Cue-Point - Director Mursal Saiq and Head Chef Joshua Moroneys’ extensive experience in the world of smoked barbecue has enabled them to explore diverse cooking techniques, flavours and methods ( including Argentinian, Texan, Afghan, Guyanese & Brazilian) taking British Barbecue to new heights and fusing it with an array of inspirations and experiences.
Each smokehouse is serving one signature dish, cooked on a surprise BBQ pit and designed just for the day. Come hungry, pace yourself, and work your way around the courtyard while Five Points and Jack Daniels keep the drinks flowing.
This is a one-day-only collaboration — no repeats, no leftovers, no second chances.
The East London Smokehouse Sessions is an all day party on Saturday the 21st of March. Tickets (£50 + fee) include four dishes; one dish from each kitchen and a welcome cocktail provided by Jack Daniels. All food and drinks included in the ticket must be redeemed by 18:00.
