We're Raising Funds In Aid of Hackney Foodbank!

Join us in our support for Hackney Foodbank as we gear up for the Hackney Half Marathon!
We have 7 runners taking part on behalf of The Five Points to run the Hackney Half for this year's fundraising initiative in aid of Hackney Foodbank (reg. charity 1149896). Last year, we raised £787 through fundraising initiatives across our two venues, The Five Points Taproom & Courtyard and The Pembury Tavern, but this year we are aiming high!
We are aiming to raise at least £500 per runner, and in order to do that, we are requesting donations through our JustGiving page, with all the proceeds going directly to the charity. We have additionally brewed a special beer available at our venues, with all profit to be donated to Hackney Foodbank so they can support those in need in our community.
As we have in the past years, we will also be donating 50p per pint of Five Points beer sold on the day of the Hackney Half Marathon, Sunday, the 18th of May.
Hackney Foodbank is part of the Trussell Trust network and runs as an independent charity that has been providing three days emergency food and support to local people in Hackney since 2011. Join us in our support to help alleviate the issues of poverty and to help support this great charity, and cheer on our runners on the day of the Hackney Half!
